Scholarships
The National Council of the Lutheran Student Fellowship is pleased to offer scholarship assistance to LCMS students! The scholarships are open to all students who are affiliated with an LCMS congregation and who are enrolled as a full time student in a post high school program of two or more years. Eligibility is open to all undergraduates. (Sorry, graduate / professional students are not eligible.). Scholarships will be awarded at the start of the fall semester (August, 2007), and once again at the start of the winter semester (January, 2008)
A student must be affiliated with a Lutheran Church Missouri Synod congregation to win a scholarship. Students from other faiths and denominations are welcome to register and be contacted by a local LCMS ministry, however remain ineligible for receiving the college scholarship.
The scholarship enrollment period for the 2008-2009 academic year begins June 15, 2008. The drawing for the the fall 2008 semester will be on midnight August 15, 2008. Registrations received after August 15, 2008 will automatically be re-entered for the January 2000 scholarship drawing.
All students who have registered during a year will need to re-register at the start of the new fall semester. Students are encouraged to register for the scholarship every year that they are in an undergraduate program.
You may receive a reminder email to come back to the website at the start of the enrollment period by filling out a scholarship form at any time.
